PROVIDENCE, RI — A driver hit an overpass bridge in downtown Providence Thursday morning, closing one lane heading south and slowing traffic. Drivers are asked to avoid the area by taking Route 10. The Rhode Island Department of Transportation reported the crash on Interstate 95 South at Broadway at 8:15 a.m. The crash closed one lane. Bridge strike on I-95 SB at Broadway. One lane closed.
