TO APPLY: MUST apply in store at Carolina Blinds, 225 Duncan Hill Rd, Hendersonville, NC 28792 Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm. We are hiring for a Full-Time window treatment installer in our Hendersonville location to assist with installations in the Hendersonville and Asheville surrounding areas. This position will also require a few hours of onsite store associate responsibilities including gallery customer experience, sales and administrative support. Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual. Knowledge of basic hand tools is required. Vehicle and tools are provided. You must pass a background check and have a good driving record. You must have a professional appearance and good communication skills. Installer Responsibilities: Be a professional and respectful representative of our Company. Be attentive and courteous to the needs of clients. Prepare for all jobs by verifying and loading products for scheduled jobs and maintaining a fully stocked van with all appropriate parts/materials. Handle window treatments with pride and care to and from the job site(s). Be timely to all scheduled jobs and complete the service call and/or installation. Maintain a safe and clean company van. PT Store Associate Responsibilities (a few hours per week): Greeting customers, responding to questions, and providing outstanding customer service. Maintaining the presentation of the sales floor, products, signage, and displays. Demonstrate products Schedule in-home consultations Assist with placing orders Directing customers to merchandise within the store. Superior product knowledge (training provided) Maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store. Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers. Required Skills and Knowledge: Outstanding communicator who can solve problems independently. Self-starter with a drive to learn and develop new skills. Excellent time manager and organizational skills. Strong team player who is also able to work autonomously. Skilled at using hand tools. Experience installing window treatments. Experience measuring with a tape measure. Outstanding customer service and communication skills (face to face or phone). Must have a good driving record. Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more Experience using ladders safely Attentive to rules and procedures of job site. Hours: Monday-Friday from 9:00am-5:00pm, Hendersonville NC and require driving in the Weaverville, Asheville and Hendersonville area. Occasionally, due to the nature of installations, hours may start before 9am or extend beyond 5pm and/or weekends. Pay: Willing to train with starting pay at $15/hour. Experienced installers will start at higher rate per hour, depending on experience. Full training is provided on products.
