Description
Here are links to two of the many American Bald Eagle "nest cams" operating right now. These are fun and interesting to watch. Both have eggs in the nest that have not yet hatched. When they do, you can watch as the eaglets grow. It's pretty educational. My favorite fact so far is that an eagle's nest can be about the size of a queen mattress!
Both nests also have sound and night viewing. The pictures with this post were screen captures from just this morning (Thursday, March 11, 2021). There are other great nest cams out on the internet, including those of other types of birds. Enjoy these two nests of our national bird:
Big Bear Lake (about 100 miles east of Los Angeles)--a very pretty setting, beyond what's going on in the eagle's nest.
Minnesota DNR--this page also has some links to video clips from key moments at this nest.
