Stellar is currently seeking a Foreman, Pipefitters, Plumbers, Welders, and Apprentices for a 6 month project in Jonesboro, AR. APPLY ONLINE FOR IMMEDIATE CONSIDERATION: FOREMAN -Assuring all employees follow Safety Rules as well as Company Policies and Procedures. -Submitting Daily Reports and tracking employees' time and crews' progress. -Supervise Plumbers, Pipefitters, Welders and helpers fabricating and installing pipe systems Copper, PVC/CPVC and Steel piping systems Grooved, Sweat/Braze, BW, SW etc. -Interpret drawings, identify and gather required materials for upcoming assemblies -Pressure Testing and flushing of systems. -Direct employees as required to perform position associated tasks. PIPEFITTER Must be familiar with HVAC systems, plumbing systems and industrial plant utilities utilizing boiler systems, steam piping, compressed air systems, hot and cold water piping systems, and other process systems. PIPEFITTER/WELDER APPRENTICE WELDER -Weld components according to specific welding procedure specifications. -Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, assemble, weld and install all types of pipe and/or similar tubular products -Install supports, valves and other control equipment -Test installed piping systems and install all other related items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications -Bolt, clamp or otherwise secure parts in position for welding -Stamp, paint, or otherwise label self-performed welds according to proper welder identification information -Must be able to pass one of the following weld tests: 6” 6G Carbon Steel SMAW 2” 6G Stainless Steel GTAW -Welds should meet quality requirements of ASME B31.3 including radiographic inspection -Must have a working knowledge of various welding codes, specifications, techniques and methods -Must be familiar with carbon steel and stainless steel welding. -Must be able to operate mechanically powered lifting equipment for both personnel and materials as trained PLUMBER: Fabricate and install plumbing systems -Copper, PVC/CPVC and Steel piping systems -In wall rough ins -Buried piping -Set fixtures Interpret drawings, identify and gather required materials for upcoming assemblies Pressure Testing and flushing of systems Direct apprentices as required to perform above tasks PLUMBER APPRENTICE: Assisting Journeyman Plumber with plumbing related tasks -Pressure Testing and flushing of systems -Assemble Eye Wash Stations, Process Sinks, Hose Stations and other items as shown on plans -Backfill compaction equipment -Hand excavate/backfill -Cut, carry, assemble plumbing piping and fittings At Stellar we value collaboration, work-life balance and giving back to our community.
