ELMHURST, IL — In the last few days, Elmhurst police have handled cases involving heroin possession, illegal dumping, a domestic disturbance, theft, DUI and driving violations. Here is information from the latest police reports: Drugs Reginald Bowdery, 45, of Bellwood, was arrested about 3 a.m. Thursday at Lake and Route 83 on charges of DUI (drugs), unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, improper lane usage (two counts), operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to dim headlights. In the same stop, Daniela M. Sardisco, 35, of Wood Dale, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. Both were taken to the DuPage County Jail. According to a police report, Bowdery admitted to using heroin earlier in the day. Illegal dumping Robert D. Eisenlohr, 34, of Bridgeview, was cited about 8 p.m. Monday at Cantore & Co., 925 Route 83, on a charge of illegal dumping. He was released on bond. According to a police report, a security video showed Eisenlohr taking multiple cardboard boxes and placing them in the victim's trash bin. He admitted to dumping the boxes and agreed to retrieve them. Domestic disturbance A domestic disturbance happened about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 700 block of Mitchell Avenue. A man said a woman slapped him, but the woman said the man pushed her. Because of conflicting statements and no signs of injuries, no arrests were made. Theft Two installers delivered appliances to a house about noon Monday in the 700 block of Spring Road. Upon their departure, items were missing from her kitchen table. An investigation is pending.A guest at Clarion Hotel, 933 S. Riverside Drive, told police that someone with whom she shared a room stole items from the bathroom countertop overnight Sunday. She said she didn't know the person. A customer at 534 W. St. Charles Road has made multiple withdrawals from her bank accounts and forwarded cashier's checks and gift cards to someone she doesn't know over the past year. The bank reported the issue Tuesday. Bank representatives said the customer was likely a victim of a deceptive practice. Warrants Modesto Jurado, 22, of Villa Park, was arrested about 10:30 a.m. Monday in the 100 block of Terrace Street in Villa Park on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.Joshua Rosado, 30, of Melrose Park, was arrested at noon Wednesday on a DuPage County Sheriff's Office warrant. He was released on bond. DUI Gregory McDowell, 49, of Chicago, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Thursday at Lake and Interstate 290 on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, improper right turn and failure to signal when required. He was released on bond. Alejandro Medina Sanchez, 24, of Itasca, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Charles and Fellows on charges of DUI, parking in the roadway and unsafe tires. He was released on bond. According to a police report, Sanchez was parked in the road with a flat passenger side tire. Michael C. Clark, 23, of Crestwood, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Sunday in the 600 block of Lake on charges of DUI and possession of marijuana by a driver. He was released on bond. According to a police report, he was stopped after striking a curb. Driving violations Kevin Hansberger, 23, of Hanover Park, was cited about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday at Interstate 290 and York on a warrant and on charges of obstructing identification, driving with a revoked license, illegal transportation of open alcohol and driving with one headlight. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.John Fong, 51, of Chicago, was cited about 10 p.m. Tuesday at York and Grand on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. He was released on bond. Kalyama Malis McHerron, 46, of Chicago, was cited about 10 a.m. Wednesday at Willow and Elmhurst on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. She was released on bond. Vanaisha Williams, 23, of Chicago, was cited at 9:30 p.m. Wednesday at North and Myrtle on charges of no valid driver's license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lighting.
