Railside is looking for a responsible person who can work with minimal supervision. Definition: This worker is employed by Railside Industrial Park and is responsible to the manager, and supervised by his assistant. The employee manages the physical maintenance of Railside Industrial Park buildings, and the grounds. Function and responsibilities: (Daily routine) Daily pickup of trash and debris, disposal of same, emptying trash receptacles, and running compactor in the morning and evening. Monitor the general conditions of the buildings and equipment to ensure a high level of quality appearance and performance. Evaluate needs and perform preventative maintenance and repairs where qualified, oversee use of equipment, and recommend professional service when necessary. Responsible for making sure that adequate stock of cleaning supplies and products is on hand for service needs, for use of all cleaning products and supplies, ensuring their safe application. Establish service schedules for and performing routine maintenance of equipment, buildings, and surrounding grounds. Keep a regular, detailed log on service and maintenance activities, monitor inventory, reducing inventory where needed, replacing products as necessary to ensure an adequate supply on hand. Perform exterior maintenance, including lawn care by mowing, weed-whipping, planting, and watering of gardens daily. Apply chemicals in a safe manner as needed for vegetation control.
