Signatures must be turned into the Alameda County Registrar of Voter by March 17th, so this is your last chance to sign, if you are an Alameda County registered voter. If you are registered to vote in a different county, please find an event within your own county to sign, as there is not enough time to mail/transfer your signature to your respective county. We need 1.5 million VALID signatures, we have 1.9 million signatures so far, and shooting for 2 million and more to compensate for duplicates and invalid signatures (if you didn't include your zip code, if you used a PO Box as they're not allowed, you printed your name, but didn't sign, if you are not registered to vote, etc.). You do not need to bring ID (as some have asked when coming to sign). You only need to be a California registered voter to sign. And ONLINE PETITIONS DO NOT COUNT, must be an ink signature on paper, as that is the ONLY way the CA Secretary of State will accept petitions.
