Job Description: The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the integrity and accuracy of the inventory within the warehouse(s). He/She is responsible for cycle counts, inventory accuracy, corresponding metrics, and to ensure that all related company policies are followed. Key Responsibilities: 1. Conduct all activities related to inventory control including cycle counting, reconciling variances between physical & system counts and processing raw material to FG transactions. 2. Ensure cycle counts are executed according to the audit requirements to prevent an annual Physical Inventory. Identify, implement and document solutions to minimize inventory discrepancies. 3. Coordinate the activities associated with product recalls upon request. 4. Create and manage metrics to monitor and support inventory accuracy. Report and share metrics with external and internal departments to accomplish outstanding customer service to our guests. 5. Make recommendations for long-term solutions and continuous process improvements for inventory control activities & inventory accuracy. 6. Organize and prep warehouses according to procedures when a year-end inventory is required. Education, Experience and Skills: Three years of related experience in a fast paced, multichannel distribution environment. 2. Excellent computer skills that include Excel and inventory software. 3. Strong performer with superior attention to detail. 4. Must be able to manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. 5.
