Join us Virtually and In-person for Financial Aid and Scholarship Night Need money for college? Join Devan Young, Secondary Education Counselor of the Benton Harbor CDC as she shares the step-by-step process on filling out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). FAFSA is the government application that higher education institutions require to qualify for financial aid, such as, grants and loans. Devan will also be speaking about scholarships (FREE MONEY). This event will be hosted virtually and in-person at the Boys & Girls Club Benton Harbor. All Juniors and Seniors and their Parents or Guardians are welcome to attend. Please note that if you are not a member of the Boys & Girls Club, you will need to complete a brief screening and sign the Guest Book upon entry. There will be representatives from TRIO and the Benton Harbor High School to assist familes with completing the FAFSA application. Parents, if you are interested in completing the FAFSA application on-site, please bring the following financial documents: Recent Federal Income Tax Returns (2020 if filed)W-2 formsPaycheck stubs or any records of earned income or current bank statements **If the student also works, they will need to bring their financial documents as well.
