Young entrepreneurs will research a business idea, draft a business plan, and learn the skills required to truly be a success! Small business ownership is more than just coming up with an idea. There are laws and rules to follow, tasks to organize and manage, and marketing to plan to find the right customers. In this fully interactive, 9-week study of small business ownership your budding (or aspiring) young entrepreneur will discover how to research a business idea, and write a practical, useful business plan, while learning valuable skills like: • How to draft and sign a contract • Where to start marketing • How to stay organized • And so much more! PLUS, they’ll walk away with tons of resources and templates that they can use over and over again in all their future business endeavors! CLASS SCHEDULE Class will meet each Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., for 9 weeks, as follows: March 21st - May 30th *No class will be held on April 4th in observance of Easter or May 9th in observance of Mother’s Day. WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS On the first day of class, each student will receive a three-ring binder to house their class notes, lesson reviews, homework assignments, business plans, and other resources. Students need to come to class each day with their binder and something reliable to write with.
