Special C.H.E.E.R.S. is hosting the 4th annual Viva Special C.H.E.E.R.S. Fiesta on April 17, 2021. Come join us from 1 to 5 PM !!!!!!!!! All children young and old are welcome to join us at this fun family event! Come join us for a family fun day with a fiesta twist. Not just for children, the entire family is invited! At the fiesta, there will be games for the kids, train rides, a bounce house, snow cones, a large silent auction, tacos, margaritas, music, folkloric dancers, plus more!! The entrance fees include fiesta snacks, a carnival that is inclusive for children with special needs and a good time for all! Located close to Beltway 8 and I-10, you will find the Special C.H.E.E.R.S ranch. This is a fundraiser with lots of opportunities to help a great local non-profit for children with special needs in additon to rescued horses. What is Special C.H.E.E.R.S? Special C.H.E.E.R.S. (Children with Horses for Evaluation, Education, Rehabilitation, and Socialization) provides over 3,600 scheduled hippotherapy and occupational therapy visits, listening intensives, and summer camps annually. Our Viva Special C.H.E.E.R.S event helps us raise money to support our summer camp for children with special needs and to help with the extra cost during the summer months. Why is this important? The funds raised at this event will support Special C.H.E.E.R.S. summer camp which includes intensive listening therapy, trail rides, crafts, and sing-a-longs but mostly friendship connections that children with special needs find hard to come by.
