Facility Maintenance & Construction Firm in the San Diego area looking to bring on an experienced maintenance technician DUTIES -Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel, andfollow safety protocol. -Conduct building maintenance work orders. Survey buildings and perform various maintenance repairs. -Maintain over all function and appearance of building. -Inspect interior & exterior lighting survey and quickly schedule repairs whenneeded. -Perform routine cleaning / disinfecting of specified interior & or exterior amenities. -Undertake activities such as minor building repairs, painting, drywall repairs, minorplumbing, ballast, or light bulb replacement, minor electrical, ceiling tile replacement, minor pest control, trash & debris cleanup -Cover driving area of San Diego County MUST HAVES -Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, drywall patching & texturing. -Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician. -Physically capable of lifting 50 pounds. -Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods. -Experienced in operating a variety of equipment and small hand tools. -Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices. -Outstanding written and verbal communication skills. -Great customer service skills. -Excellent manual dexterity and problem-solving skills. -Valid driver’s license and good driving record. -3-5 years of experience -Strong customer facing skills & experience -Able to lift 50 lbs -PPE: Hard Hat;Safety Glasses;Gloves;Earplugs All necessary PPE will be provided -Tools: Hand Tools Company vehicle will be provided with tools beyond basic needs JOB DETAILS -Rate : $23/hr -Typical work week from 8am-530pm -This is a long term position -Job training required -Mileage expenses covered. -Overtime available References & background checks will be required.
