We are a fast-growing logistics company. We are currently looking for a Sorter/Warehouse associate (Part-time hours). Swing or Graveyard shift. 6 days a week. Sunday night to Friday night. This can be a part-time or full-time. Job Description: The SORTER's main responsibility will be to : - receive incoming shipments, - break down pallets to sort out items according to predefined procedures, - and ensure that all packing and labeling activities for outgoing shipments are properly handled. - assist loaders in placing merchandise onto awaiting vehicles. - stack items in the delivery truck in a manner that they are secure, and ensure that fragile items are carefully handled. - make arrangements for paperwork to be sent along with all outgoing shipments. - maximize storage space within the warehouse area, by carefully and strategically moving items.
