Description
So here's the deal... I want to be able listen to air radio traffic on the tower frequency at Lacrosse airport but I'm too far away. There's a web site called Liveatc net that broadcasts air traffic radios via live stream on the net. I will pay $150 bucks for someone that is living between Lakeshore and the river and north of 90 (or has a hangar on the field that can do it) to set up a live stream and get it published to the website and allow live 24/7 streaming of the ATC Tower radio via their computer.
I will supply you a scanner that is capable of receiving the tower frequency.
You will need:
An always-on internet connection (LiveATC uplink uses only 16kbps)
Windows, Mac, or Linux/FreeBSD computer with sound card (requires very little system resources)
Inexpensive audio cable to hook your receiver to your sound card
Free software that the website helps you install.
Once the stream is available on the net, I will pay you the $150.
Let me know if you're interested.
