Judge Christopher Wilson Orders John Muir To Semper Virens

Description

I was sitting in "Chris" Wilson's courtroom, yesterday, fanning the flies, drawn by the corruption, when I was astonished to hear John Muir named as a defendant. It seems that Mr. Muir was arrested, walking down Highway 101, for obstructing traffic and resisting arrest. Investigators searching his belongings for something illegal to charge him with, found the following written confession amongst the homeless bum's papers: “Oftentimes,” he writes in some unpublished biographical notes, “I had to sleep out without blankets, and also without supper or breakfast. But usually I had no great difficulty in finding a loaf of bread in the widely scattered clearings of the farmers. With one of these big backwoods loaves I was able to wander many a long, wild mile, free as the winds in the glorious forests and bogs, gathering plants and feeding on God’s abounding, inexhaustible spiritual beauty bread. Only once in my long Canada wanderings was the deep peace of the wilderness savagely broken. It happened in the maple woods about midnight, when I was cold and my fire was low. I was awakened by the awfully dismal howling of the wolves, and got up in haste to replenish the fire.” (http://www.gutenberg.org/files/60749/60749-h/60749-h.htm) Based upon Mr Muir's own statement, he was charged with trespassing, burglary, theft, and arson, and Judge Wilson sentenced the homeless bum to 18 months in jail. When Mr Muir heard the sentence he protested vigorously, leading the judge to order the bailiff to 'shut that fucker up', then, after the prisoner was removed from the courtroom, he was remanded to the custody of Semper Virens, for a psychiatric evaluation, 'cuz that's how we roll, here in Humboldt - crazy, but true. We've attached the homeless bum, John Muir's, photograph, above. If you see him, please, do not hesitate to call the Fortuna Police Department and report a suspicious person. Without your 'suspicious person' and 'suspicious vehicle' calls (suspicious of what? we don't ask), Fortuna Police Department would have nothing to do and might have to help the fire department with some of those 'medical lift' calls.
