Sorting clothing and making clothing kits for children in need in Chicago Volunteers play a critical role at our warehouse helping sort and inventory donations of baby and toddler essentials for children in need across Chicago. Volunteering at the Sharehouse is family friendly! We have lots of fun and engaging activities for our littlest volunteers. Activities include making cards, sorting clothes, and doing quailty checks toys and books. Volunteers must be at least 6 years old. There must be at least one adult for every two children between the ages of 6 and 10. A ticket must be purchased for all children. IMPORTANT COVID UPDATES PLEASE READ: To ensure the safety of all volunteers and our families we are requiring that all volunteers wear a mask and gloves while working in our Sharehouse. Gloves will be provided. All volunteer sessions are limited to 5 volunteers to ensure proper social distancing. Thank you for your understanding as we begin to reopen the Sharehouse to volunteers.
