I need to rehome my male cat due to my travel plans in a small RV van and my plans to relocate to a warmer climate. He has had his shots, been neutered, cat box trained, etc. He has always been an indoor cat but lately I have been letting him out with a radio tracking collar and only when he has NOT been fed to keep him local. He likes to know where you are at all times so his wanderings are very short lived. He is also harness and leash trained and will be happy being tethered in the backyard to get fresh air or go for a walk with you. I'm looking for a quiet elderly couple or single who would like a low maintenance engaging companion. Although my cat is affectionate he is more standoffish than usual. If you recline in your favorite chair he will join you but if you pet him too much he's outta there! He's been getting better year by year as I have raised him as a kitten and getting better at understanding affection. There is no rehoming fee but I reserve the right to select the proper environment and new owners as I want him to have a full and long (safe) life. I will require that we do a Vet visit for any new shots he needs as well as transferring the chip ID to new owner. I will pay all costs including purchasing more supplies. He comes with food, litter, litter box, harness, leash, and radio tracking collar and handheld locator. He's also good with small dogs or big dogs that are not aggressive. I used to live on the Olympic Peninsula and up there he loved playing with my neighbors small poodle. Because he is dog friendly I do not want him outside on his own without you knowing where he is as he would not understand a mean dog or coyote. Please be sincere about being able to take care of him and limit his exposure to any future harm.
