The Town of Sharon is seeking a full time (8am-4:30pm, M-W, 8am-8pm, Th., 8am-12pm, F) Engineering/Planning Specialist. Responsibilities include serving as a technical resource to Town boards and committees to identify community needs and develop short- and long-term solutions to improve and revitalize areas; helping to carry out Town plans by overseeing Master Planning including town-wide Master Plan, Open Space and Recreation Plan, DPW Roadway Management Plan and Water Department Master Plan; coordinating projects and reviewing compliance with zoning regulations, and organizing the work of the groups involved to ensure efficient expenditure of Town funds. Evening meeting attendance required. Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, Urban or Regional Planning or a related field. Salary: $60,725, with benefits.
