Full time, competitive hourly position at an established and growing local company in East Stroudsburg, PA. This is a chance to contribute to a dynamic team environment and utilize your skills in landscaping, property maintenance, and snow removal on Nauman Company's 40+ residential and commercial rental properties. Starting pay will depend on level of landscaping experience. Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in landscaping • Valid Driver’s License. • Must be a reliable worker who is able to perform routine tasks without supervision. • Able to work well independently and with a team. • Strong attention to detail. • Must be a self-starter able to prioritize work tasks for maximum efficiency as well. • Physical Requirements: • Carry heavy weight (over 50lbs) • Bend or stoop repeatedly • Manipulate tools in tight spaces • Lift heavy weight over shoulder • Able to work for extended time outside and exposed to weather elements. Skill Requirements: • Ability to operate lawn equipment. • Ability to operate heavy machinery for snow removal. • Ability to maintain plant material and pests • Ability to communicate well both written and orally. Responsibilities • The cultivation and seasonal care of all landscaping and grounds surrounding a rental property, industrial park, and airport. • Gather and remove litter. • Routinely cut and edge lawn using hand, power, or riding mower. • Pull weeds and apply pesticide to rid grounds of pests such as grubs, wasps, bees, ticks, etc. • Cut & trim tree limbs that are dangerous or unsightly. • Rake and leaf blow to clear leaves and debris from garden beds and walkways. • Mulch, prune, plant, aerate, water and fertilize garden beds and trees as needed. • Perform minor repairs and/or preventative maintenance to buildings both inside and out. • Drive a plow and use heavy machinery to clear snow from commercial parking lots (may occur outside of normal business hours). • Shovel snow from main walkways and sprinkle salt to prevent slips & falls. • Help to coordinate or perform maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds-keeping. • During slower seasons, be flexible to assist with other company teams and tasks which could include light carpentry labor etc. • Knowledge to perform minor repairs and/or preventative maintenance to buildings such as minor carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc. both inside and out is a plus. • Participates in continued educational and training opportunities to enhance job knowledge.
