GRIST MILL STUDIOS the Historic Moscow Woods Mill at 34 Moscow Woods Rd, is currently being renovated inside to accommodate 5-6 working artists in private studios. Spaces range from roughly 100sq-ft to 400sq-ft, each includes a window to lovely natural light. Shared space make up roughly 50% of the interior space, with private studios being the other 50%. Shared spaces include drop sink, bathroom with hot water, food kitchen and ‘dye-lab’ for natural dyes, vented bench for jewelry or stained glass, dining table and shelving/store for selling crafts etc. Upon entering the space there is a small gallery which will be open for resident artists to show in. The building is on a lot with parking for every artist, as well are yard space to utilize during warm months for outdoor making space and sun breaks. We ask that artists wear masks while in common spaces but feel free to unmask in your private space. Artists will have access at all hours of the day. Rent will range based on size, will not be under $180 and not over $425, with most studios being on average $200. Rent includes the cost of utilities such as heat, water, trash removal and WiFi.
