Looking for a kitten or a small dog/puppy

Hello everyone. I have a one-year-old dog who needs a friend. He gets along well with all other animals but I’m really looking for like a kitten or a small young dog. He’s a German Shepherd Husky but it is definitely on the smaller side. He’s afraid of dog sitter bigger than him that plays perfectly with smaller ones. Loves to cuddle with cats. Anyone have any friendly strays or anything? Don’t really want to have to pay more than maybe 50 bucks. He’s a rescue so it will be nice to rescue another animal in need
