The Company’s business units are: · Global Headquarters – Memphis, Tennessee · Disassembly facility and warehouse – Tupelo, Mississippi · Sales office – Brighton, UK · ARI, Hong Kong, China · China Aircraft Disassembly Centre, Harbin, China Description & Responsibilities The Aircraft Technician reports to the facility Assistant General Manager/General Manager. The Aircraft Tech should be engaged in a quality disassembly process including: · Takes primary ownership for the development of world-class disassembly processes. · Creates and drives a culture of excellence, where teamwork and active problem solving result in continuous improvement throughout the operational process. • Ensures all disassembly orders are adhered to in a timely manner. • Communicates all delays on disassembly to lead. • Abides by company policies regarding security and safety in order to maintain a safe working environment. • Removes all parts with the highest safety and quality as possible. • Works well in a group and handles large tasks with minimum guidance. • Works in a variable of climate conditions • Tasks may vary, therefore successful candidate must be flexible and a team player. • Ability to travel when needed to offsite projects. Qualifications · FAA A&P license preferred, but not required. · Decision making with minimum guidance. · Strong problem solving skills · Ability to think and plan at a strategic level. · Organizational and planning skills are of high importance. · A background in aircraft disassembly is preferred. · Mechanically inclined comfort and skill in working with tools, machinery, and equipment. · Needs to be very safety oriented. · Be able to furnish his or her tools to perform the job at hand · Must be able to work in confined and high work areas · Pass a drug and background screening Personal Qualities Aircraft Technician Characteristics include: · Unquestionable integrity and personal character. · Down to earth values, perseverance and optimism. · A strong, results-orientation and desire to compete and win – but not at all costs. · Decisive and willing to make tough decisions. · Very strong work ethic and a willingness to lead by example. · A strong sense of urgency and the desire to drive value-adding change. · Self-confident but not arrogant or egotistical. · Able to examine, assess and take measured risks for the benefit of the company and its customers. · Transparent and collaborative team and relationship building skills · Creative and resourceful. · Tenacious and hard working · Neat and Orderly · Abide by UAM Rules and Regulations · Interested in personal development and continual learning Apply Now:
