The Company’s business units are: · Global Headquarters – Memphis, Tennessee · Disassembly facility and warehouse – Tupelo, Mississippi · Sales office – Brighton, UK · ARI, Hong Kong, China · China Aircraft Disassembly Centre, Harbin, China Description & Responsibilities The Logistics Specialist (LS) is tasked with packing, crating and shipping UAM inventory, worldwide. The LS also: Responsible for the Packing and Unpacking of unit(s) for shipment and verifying all necessary paperwork is included with each shipment Acts an agent to verify and re-verify component tags · Coordinates and monitors the delivery process of components and related assemblies to UAM customers. · Creates a digital component list for received components · Ensures accurate and concise logistics and communicates effectively · Utilizes logistics IT to optimize shipping and transport procedures Acts as a contact with UAM sales support team Administers UAM’s logistics program in accordance with relevant export regulations Completes logistics documentation Maintains the existing logistics process and existing quality process and makes incremental improvements that increase efficiency Accountable for the safety and accuracy of UAM shipments worldwide Monitors and achieves logistics metrics set by warehouse management Familiarity with UAM’s Quality Control Manual and all related policies and procedures. Makes incremental improvements to increase efficiency.
