Start a band?

Trying to start a band. Some covers, hopefully some originals to make the band marketable in AC and Philly. Looking at being more of a jam-type band, similar to Gov't Mule, Widespread Panic, Dave Matthews Band, Phish. I know it isn't a sexy genre, but there is a market out there for it.
