Guitar and Keys Needed for Funky Rock Band

Myself and a bassist have been getting together, working on music on our own, jamming with people to find the right fit. So far it hasn't happened. Bass and drums can only do so much together. We want to write original music and work on each other's music, but we've been working on covers and we believe in doing that. It levels our ego and pushes us to become better as players. The music, when I say "funky rock," really means that we like upbeat music anywhere from The Meters to Black Sabbath. I'd like to put together a solid set list of covers that we love to play, then go for a set of originals. I am confident that the work will bring us together and we'll write better music.
