Description
PATCHOGUE-MEDFORD, NY — Patchogue-Medford school district officials released their plans to get students back in schools full time this month.
Superintendent Dr. Donna Jones presented the plan during the community meeting on March 4.
Students in grades 7 and 8 will be returning to in-person instruction 5 days a week starting on March 22. However, live streaming will still be available for those who want to do full remote learning.
For high school students in grades 9 through 11, full time in-school learning will begin on April 5. Those students will also have the option to continue with full remote learning.
The school district plans to modify the daily health screening to allow parents to submit an online form. Students who have not filled out the screening will be temperature checked.
