Press release from the Lindenhurst Union Free School District: March 10, 2021 Throughout the Lindenhurst Union Free School District, students at the elementary level recognized the 100th day of school as a major milestone. Students read books about the 100th day of school, took part in myriad 100th day activities including the 100th Day Rodeo and stringing Froot Loops® necklaces using sets of 10 Froot Loops®. Some activities included exercising by taking 100 steps down the hall, creating projects made from 100 items, such as T-shirts. In some cases students even dressed as 100-year-olds.
