Crofton Woman Dies After Car Accident In College Park: Police

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Police said a Tuesday evening car accident in College Park hospitalized two women. One of those victims died soon after, an incident report noted. Troopers identified her as Michelle McMillan of Crofton. She was 42. Police informed that McMillan was driving her passenger south on Crain Highway at John Hanson Highway around 10 p.m. The write-up indicated that the Chrysler 300 sedan verged left off the roadway and overturned, trapping the driver and her front-seat passenger. Medics took both women to the University of Maryland Prince George's Hospital Center, a press release clarified. Troopers are still investigating the cause of the accident. Have a story idea?
