UPDATE: Otis was found by some hikers and is safely back home, according to the animal control. MIDDLETOWN, CT — The Middletown Animal Control is asking residents to keep an eye out for a dog that went missing while hiking on Wednesday. "Otis went missing from Spiderweed Preserve (in the area of Saybrook Road and Aircraft Road, Middletown, CT) while hiking earlier today," the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. "He was wearing a backpack and a collar with a leash attached when last seen." Anyone with information is asked to call his owner Sabine at 860-463-1403 or the Middletown Animal Control at 860-638-4030.
