The starting pay rate is $16.86 an hour. Food Service Assistant Orientation this Thursday at 9 am JOB REQUIREMENTS The job is based on Ft. Carson. Must be able to drive on base with your own personal vehicle. Must have up to date driver license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration. Must have a clean background. JOB DESCRIPTION This is a temp to perm job. Afterwards, there is a possibility to transition to long-term employment. Hours vary depending on availability and company needs, but currently the common options are 12:30 PM to 8:00 PM, and 6:00 AM to 1:30 PM. Must come in-person to begin the application process. We are open 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. 3134 W. Colorado Ave. General Laborer, Pay $12.32-$17.00 / Hour The General Laborer, Grounds Maintenance or General Maintenance Worker is responsible for general duties, upkeep and/or maintenance as assigned by a representative of our client company or organization. The worker would be under the supervision of the client’s authorized supervisor. Principal Duties and Responsibilities A General Laborer and/or General Maintenance worker may perform some of the following duties to upkeep, maintain or improve the grounds, worksites or facilities of our client company or organization: a. Picking up or carts away leaves, paper or other litter; b. Clearing and disposing of debris from grounds or a worksite c. Removing snow from walks, driveways, roads, or parking lots, using shovel and snow blower, spreads salt on walkways and other areas; d. Repairing and painting fences, gates, benches, tables, guardrails, and outbuildings; e. Cutting grass, using walking-type or riding mowers (less than 2000 lbs.); f. Trimming hedges and edges around walks, flowerbeds, and wells, using hedge trimmers, clippers and edging tools. Pruning shrubs and trees to shape and improve growth, using shears and other hand tools; g. Spraying lawns, shrubs, and trees with water, fertilizer or insecticide; h. Planting grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs, watering lawn and shrubs during dry periods, using hose or activating sprinkler system; i. Assists in repairing of walks, buildings, and mechanical equipment; j. Cleaning of offices, residential units, workshop areas, and parking lots by sweeping, washing, mopping and polishing; and, k.
