Commercial Construction Assistant On Site Supervisor

We are a General Contractor specializing in historic property renovation as well as some ground-up construction. We have new projects beginning in York VA, Bedford Va, and Martinsville VA. We are seeking an assistant on-site project supervisor to help oversee these jobs on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will travel to all of the above jobs and be in constant communication with the owner regarding job progress. the owner will provide direction to the on-site supervisor to relay to all the various subcontractors. Job Details: This role will be responsible for daily reporting back to the owner, hands-on supervision, and coordination of subcontractors and general conditions work on construction job sites. You will work with us to identify and address issues of construction or lack of scope. You will oversee all daily field operations to ensure proper site safety, construction progress, quality control and a clean site. Must be able to travel throughout Virginia. A valid drivers license is required. We will provide hotels and reimburse gas for travel to and from and between job sites.
