Route Courier

Jobs

Chambersburg PA

Description

Hello and thank you for checking out this posting first and foremost. My name is Ryan and I am currently working on building up a transportation & driving services business. I have multiple courier routes in the Eastern half of PA and now I have the chance to gain another route if I can find a driver for it. Now let me start with the basics. This is steady, year round work. It runs Monday thru Friday with the first stop at 3 P.M. and last stop at 5:30-5:45 P.M. It consists of picking up medical specimens from various locations. There are 9 stops total, and these do not change, so they will be the same everyday. It starts in Chambersburg with 1 stop, then 1 in Carlise, 1 in Mechanicsburg, 3 in Harrisburg, and the last 3 stops are in York which at your last stop is where you drop your samples off. This route pays $75 each day and the pay is every two weeks and can be paid by cash, check or Zelle, Venmo, Facebook Pay, etc. The pros about this type of work is that it is VERY, easy, laid-back and mostly stress free work. Even if you are unexperienced, I have an app guide manual that shows you exactly how to navigate the app you would use to enter the information for the route. I also have the address list which I would send so you would know exactly where the 9 stops are you'd be going to everyday, in the order you do them. As long as you have a smartphone, GPS, and reliable transportation, this job is cake. With that said, I would honestly say the only con is the fact that this is 1099/Independent Contractor work, so you have to use your own vehicle, pay for your fuel and tolls (which you shouldn't need to use any toll roads). However, being that I know it sucks having to spend your own money for gas to do a job and wait 2 weeks to get paid, so for all new drivers I tell them I will gladly pay them after their first 2 or 3 times doing a route so they have some money for gas and are comfortable in knowing that I am not just some CL scammer. The only other main thing I need to mention is that this route will be available and need to be filled by this Friday 3/12/21. I have multiple drivers who enjoy working for me because I treat them with respect, let them know how much I appreciate them and the work they do and I pay them. I also go above and beyond for the ones who stick with me and prove to be reliable, dependable people who are ambitious and have goals. I am trying to build something myself, but that doesn't mean I am trying to do it alone or at the expense of others. Sure, I hope to be successful, but if I am it will be by helping to build others up as well and help them realize their goals. The ONLY thing I ask of a prospective driver, is that if you are serious about the job, that you just be reliable and dependable above everything else. Once I hire a driver I fully expect that they will do the route however many days a week it is supposed to be done, rain, snow or shine, unless the lab cancels it in bad enough weather. All drivers need to have a backup/relief driver, but if you don't know anyone who would want to, I can always find someone to do it. I just like to let the driver of the route decide first. That is basically it. I also am looking for a relief/backup driver for 2 other routes (one in Lehigh Valley from Wed-Fri or at least Thur & Fri & another for 2 or 3 nights in the Wyoming Valley). I am always trying to procure more routed work, whether it be with the same company as these routes or a different company. I ask that if you have any interest or you know anyone who may be interested to both email and text me at first and if you are truly interested after all the information has been given, and would like to have a phone call or meet, we can absolutely do that. Thank you for reading, and I hope you have a wonderful, blessed day.
