Seeking one or two individuals to join our Full-time crew at Lowe Family Farmstead. As you can tell from the job qualifications, these are unique jobs because of the variety of work involved. You will be working directly with the owners, our family, and a few other employees. We expect 100% honesty and cleanliness. No tobacco, vaping, alcohol, drugs, or profanity. POSITION 1: Skilled Construction professional. Looking for someone with a wide range of construction and farm skills and experience, including: Framing basic electrical and plumbing equipment operation (skid steer, farm tractor, backhoe, etc) mig welding finish carpentry Must be good at problem-solving, be able to lead out on a project, and work independently as well as with others. other beneficial skills and experience include: Class A CDL pesticide applicators license excavation experience (proficient with laser level) irrigation experience (handlines, pivots, and commercial landscape) landscape (tree planting, pavers, concrete installation) basic equipment maintenance and repairs painting experience livestock experience Full-time, year around. Lots of hours during spring, summer, and fall. 5 or 6 days per week, depending on the season. Generally no work on Sundays. Paid vacation. 401k with employer matching funds. Pay depends on experience, $18-$28/hour. POSITION 2: Farm and Construction helper/laborer Must be willing to work hard, sweat a little, and have a good attitude! Experience in any or all of the skills listed above will be helpful, but not necessary for the right candidate willing to work hard and learn quickly. Must have good general mechanical aptitude. Full time or part time. Could work into year-round for the right person. 401k eligible. $10-$18/hour depending on experience and skill.
