Weingartz, an industry leader in the sales and service of outdoor power equipment, is looking to add a Set-up Technician to our Cedar Springs Service Department improve our business. SUMMARY Responsible for maintenance, prep and light repair of various outdoor power equipment and various shop maintenance duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Retrieve proper equipment per sales invoice Unpacking and assembling new equipment Test and ensure equipment is in good working order Demonstrate product to customers in a professional manner Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Maintains a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, co-workers and management General Requirements Equipment assembly experience ideal but not required Hi-Lo operator experience Must continually be able to lift and handle heavy loads up to 70 lbs. Must have the ability to multi-task. Job Type: Part-time with the opportunity to transfer full-time in the future
