If you want to have fun this summer, and enjoy working with children, we’ve got a great opportunity for you! YMCA of Bucks County is searching for our 2021 Summer Camp Counselors at our Doylestown, Warminster, Holland and Quakertown locations. The ideal camp counselor is outgoing, responsible, with great communication skills. We hope you will join our Y Summer Camp team! Requirements: Must be at least 18 years of age 2 years of experience working with children (coaching, babysitting, paid work, volunteering, etc.)Credits in the Education or related field is a plus!Must be able to pass background checks and clearances upon hire Ability to perform First Aid/CPR/AED/Emergency Oxygen (training will be provided) Responsibilities: Actively participate in activities with campers throughout the day Must participate during swim time Know all emergency procedures and enforce all safety guidelinesCommunication effectively with teammates and parentsIdentify and respond appropriately to camper behavioral issues and report all incidents to the Lead CounselorReinforce positive behaviors, teach proper sportsmanship and bring enthusiasm to every camp day.Arrive on-time and ready for the day Days/Hours Needed: Monday through Friday; 7am-6pm, flexibility with shifts and hours (Camp runs June - August) Salary: Competitive wages *Free Individual YMCA Membership* Job Type: Full Time and Part Time - Seasonal If you are interested in applying, please submit an application online.
