BOLINGBROOK, IL — Multiple shots were fired in Bolingbrook Wednesday morning, police said. Officers responded to the area of Whitewater Drive and Boughton Road at 9:09 a.m. because several residents reported hearing gunshots. The police found no victims, but, saw multiple shell casings. Witnesses told the officers that a man fired multiple rounds at another man in a red jogging suit. The one who fired the shots got into a dark gray sedan and fled the area in an unknown direction. The one in the red jogging suit also fled the area on foot. Police said this is an isolated incident and the people are not in any immediate danger. The investigation is ongoing.
