Mitchell Tree Company specializes in Tree Removal, Trimming, chemical treatments and Tree installation. Responsibilities: Ensure job organization, equipment utilization and manpower are used in the safest and most efficient manner. • Walk job site with homeowner • Supervise workmanship to ensure the job meets job order specifications • Direct crew in performance of work; assign job specific tasks and supervise their performance • Ensure crew members wear safety equipment at all times and that safety practices and measures are followed • Direct cleanup of site; ensure all equipment & supplies are secured on trucks • Reorder materials or supplies needed for trucks and equipment • Maintain safe and controlled work environment at all times • Adhere to company safety and training policies • Work closely with management to ensure the job meets client’s specifications • Ensure all maintenance checks and services on equipment are performed • Perform all functions of tree climber (see above) Requirements: Climber - Knowledge of proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals, chain saw safety and operation, tree climbing, bucket truck operation. Industry experience and CDL preferred. Crew Foreman - 5-7 years industry experience in residential tree care with the ability to train and direct crew members in all facets of tree care. Knowledge of common trees and shrubs as well as good communication skills is essential.
