AURORA, IL — Firehouse Subs in Aurora is in the midst of its weeklong backpack donation drive to support victims of child abuse and at-risk kids. Diners who donate a nonperishable, child-friendly item or backpack to the drive can get a medium "Hook & Ladder" sub for $3 at the Aurora restaurant, 405 N. Eola Road, according to a new release. The backpack donation drive runs through Saturday.
