We have an immediate job opening for an Air Conditioning Mechanic Assistant. Full Time Monday - Friday. Valid Drivers License is Required. We offer competitive wages with no experience necessary.
The job consists of performing a variety of basic technical tasks related to assisting in the installation, maintenance, parts replacement, service, and repair of all heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and water-based equipment for commercial and residential HVAC equipment. Along with some additional duties such as furnishing tools, materials, and supplies to other workers; cleaning work area, machines, and tools; and holding materials or tools for other workers.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists HVAC Mechanic in repairing mechanical and electrical systems on heating and cooling equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance on a variety of heating and cooling equipment.
- Periodically monitors and inspects heating and cooling systems to ensure continued proper operation.
- Picks up and delivers parts required for department needs.
- Investigates heating and air conditioning complaints; performs minor repair.
- Installs air and water filters on various equipment on a periodic basis.
- Assessing drain problems and performing any needed repairs.
