Janitorial Morning Supervisor Bay Contract Maintainance is currently seeking an experienced Janitorial Morning Supervisor to join their team in Bay Area, CA. About Us: Bay Contract Maintainance is a Commercial Janitorial Service Provider. We are looking for a Janitorial Supervisor to help us to oversee cleaning and keeping areas sanitary. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting with all janitorial activities, primarily by supervising and training team members to ensure customer satisfaction. Responsibilities: Oversees custodial work, maintaining a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency. Selects and assigns staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion. Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing subordinate employees' work, covering sick calls. Makes rounds to check for crew coverage of designated work areas, assigns needed coverage, gives special cleaning instructions and/or assignments, and ascertains compliance with directives. Conducts inspections and investigates the client’s complaints of the building to check for cleanliness and advise subordinates of found conditions and correction methods. Check on the property for any possible projects that need to be done. Ensure staff is in uniform. Check on staff to make sure they are at work. Check with the client to see how the job is. If possible, walk the space with the client. Check with each employee on trash, recycling, and compost standards. Set up / prepare for projects / ensure all products and machines are ready for use. Follow up on projects to ensure they are done right/walk are with the client if possible. Once the project is done, make sure all items are back where they belong in the warehouse. Take the lead on new contracted work. Look for possible new employees when available. Look for a possible new business or new projects when available. Do complete pass on to Manager and the night Supervisor via email. Performs other related duties as assigned or requested. Administrative: Ensure all BCM’s SOPs are implemented and followed. Assist with tracking weekly hours for payroll/HR. Assist with weekly reporting on issues, violations, and client requests or feedbacks. Participate in department trainings and seminars Must have a be open to schedule changes and working non-business hours Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications: A high school diploma or G.E.D. “Preferred” Minimum ‘3’ years’ experience. Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Must have dependable transportation to job site. Must be able to pass background check. Bilingual (Spanish - English) preferred. Schedule: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM Job Type: Full-time Pay: $26.00 per hour COVID-19 precautions Personal protective equipment provided or required Temperature screenings Sanitizing, disinfecting, or cleaning procedures in place
