CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, OH — Ohio will expand its COVID-19 vaccine eligibility to anyone 50 and older on Thursday. With nearly 1 million more Ohioans set to receive the vaccine, the state has launched a website to help residents book an appointment to get vaccinated. To use the website, visit gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov. Click "Check Eligibility and Book an Appointment" and answer a series of questions to confirm you are eligible to receive the vaccine. The questions take 5 to 10 minutes to answer. If you're booking an appointment for someone else, you will be prompted to provide your own name and information. You can also check with local vaccine distributors to book an appointment directly with them.
