Press release from Cincinnati Public Schools: March 9, 2021 Queens Village, Cradle Cincinnati and Voices of Healing are hosting the virtual In Her Voice Creative Writing Workshop for Black girls in grades 9-12. The workshop is meant to strengthen social connections by utilizing the art of storytelling, writing and poetry to build community connections and resiliency while bringing young women together while shelter in place at home. This virtual workshop is an opportunity for teen girls to engage with each other across the city to help manage their stress and anxiety through a creative outlet. The workshop series will end with a live showcase. Participants can earn up to $100. The workshop is from 5-6 p.m. Wednesdays (March 10-May 19). Register for the workshop. Email here with questions.
