Wheezy - A Sweet & Devoted Companion

Events

Ashland OR

Description

Wheezy is a sweet girl, who is estimated to be 3 years old and has been in a foster home for a month to get a break from the shelter. She was surrendered by her owners, when they became homeless and could no longer care for her. This sweet girl is cuddly around the house and will curl up next to you for hours. She loves going on walks and has exuberant energy. She likes and needs a lot of exercise. She will also need some work on her leash manners. She is likely deaf and has shown progress learning hand signals. She is crate trained and happily sleeps in her crate all night. Wheezy gets along great with other dogs and is excited to meet everyone, people and other dogs included. It is unknown how she is with children or cats. Wheezy came to the shelter with a skin condition and since her foster mom has worked hard to help clear up her skin, she is doing much better. However, it's likely that her skin condition may require ongoing care or special food. Wheezy rarely barks, unless she sees something in the backyard. When Wheezy is excited, she makes a loud screeching sound which may become a noise issue in close living situations like an apartment. If you would like more information or to meet Wheezy, please contact the Jackson County Animal Shelter ), or call Michelle at five1zero-five8nine-7three4one. Adoption fee is $150, plus $25 for an annual dog license, if you live in Jackson County.
