WEST VILLAGE, NY — A West Village fire that broke out just after midnight on Wednesday sent four people to the hospital, including one firefighter, according to the FDNY. The flames ignited on the fourth floor of an apartment building at 75 Bank Street, according to the FDNY. A spokesperson from the fire department told Patch that the flames were under control by 12:56 a.m. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
