TUCSON, ARIZ. —The City of Tucson will host a series of town halls, hosted by Mayor Regina Romero and City Manager Michael Ortega, discussing the upcoming fiscal year budget, in addition to a number of other topics.
The city will hold its first town hall virtually on March 11 at 5:30 p.m., discussing Tucson's budget, ahead of the fiscal year that kicks off on July 1.
Four town halls will be held in total, covering topics that range from the city's infrastructure, to climate action and adaptation, community safety and recovering economically from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The town halls feature moderated discussions, serving as a way to allow members of the community to voice their concerns on a wide variety of topics, while giving them an outlet to voice their feedback on the city's government.
