Beginning Off-Camera Flash Class Workshop - Hands On Studio Photography Class
This is the ideal basic lighting class for anyone that is interested in beginning to use off-camera flash, or someone that bought some lighting, and isn't comfortable or happy with the results they are getting.
Part 1 will be an explanation and demonstration of exactly how the equipment works. We will look at:
Different Light choicesLighting modifiers (why there are so many, and how to pick the ones to use)Positioning Your LightCreating Hard vs. Soft LightBasic Lighting Setups for Quick SuccessPart 2 is a hands-on shooting opportunity. Class attendees will take turns using the equipment and creating images with an experienced model as their subject. I will help each step of the way, helping you to set the controller, manage your settings, and position the lighting.
This class includes a model release so that you may use the images that you create!
As always, if you haven't already purchased your lighting equipment, I would be more than happy to help you plan out exactly what you need to maximize your budget.
Covid Protocols will be in place throughout the day. We will maintain physical distancing practices, and masks are required, except for the model.
