Hes pretty aggressive but would do ok with some plecos or algae eaters..im rehoming him because he just refuses to get along with my other cichlids..but my other blood parrot lives in a community tank with cherry barbs and tetras. So i guess it just depends on the fish..Marty might do ok in a community tank too as long as he doesnt feel threatened by any of the other fish..who knows..i had him since he was the size of a quarter and he will get 10 inch full grown. I dont want to see him go but i feel its best. Text only
