All-State Fence Company is seeking a full-time fence installation apprentice to work under one of our experienced crew leaders. This position requires heavy lifting. Applicant must be able to lift between 80 and 100 lbs. This position is a permanent position. We build fence year-round (this job is not seasonal). Successful applicant will be working 40 to 50 hours per week working Monday through Friday. This position requires heavy lifting and working in the heat or cold depending on the season. Applicant must be able to work at a fast pace. Starting wage is $13.00 per hour and $19.50 for overtime. We pay more for those with several years of construction experience. We give raises twice a year if the team member is progressing. We are a fast-growing company with a lot of room for advancement. Duties Include: Tearing Down and Stacking Old Fence Using a Concrete Mixer to mix concrete for setting fence posts. Pushing wheel barrows full of concrete (you must be strong for this task) Using power augers to drill post holes Using nail guns, drills and skill saws building fence after the posts have been set. Additional Requirements: Must be honest, humble, hardworking and dependable Applicant must have a valid driver's license with a good driving record. Ability to work effectively on a fast-paced fence installation crew. Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check.
