The Delbert Anderson Trio is an instrumental ensemble inspired by ancient Native American melodies fused with jazz, hip hop, funk, and soul. Formed by award-winning jazz trumpeter and Navajo tribe member Delbert Anderson, this instrumental ensemble is inspired by ancient Native American melodies fused with jazz, hip hop, funk, and soul. The trio is composed of Anderson on trumpet, Nicholas Lucero on drums, and Mike McCluhan on bass. Supported in part by grants from Western Arts Alliance Advancing Indigenous Performance Touring Fund, the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, WESTAF, and Utah Arts and Museums. Space is limited and registration for this event is required. Please register one ticket for each member of your party. Seating will begin at 6:30 PM and the concert will start at 7 PM.
