Hi, thnx for reading this drummer girls and guys. We have 1 girl singer,1 guy singer. We have keys, 2 guitars,bass. There are 4 of us,you would make 5. The music is cover stuff that are only sing-a-longs and danceable faves. No obscure b-sides or deep cuts. All songs are easily recognizable. Fun to play, people love the megahits of the 70s,80s and beyond. The ages in the band range from 30 to 50. This is perfect for someone who is ok with rehearsing in South Austin and is ok with later rehersals like 7pm or 8pm once a week. We all have full lives, families,full time jobs and are not relying on gig income to pay bills. Age, ethnicity, gender does not matter to us. Just show up and kick butt on the drums. Our rehearsal space has a kit, you just bring your cymbals. We will focus only on what you can drum well on (your strengths), not what you can't. The only one thing we ask is that you be kuul, easy going and chill. Absolutely NO Trumpers/Conservatives or Covid deniers. We respect everyone's right to their own reality but it just won't work for us. We are a musical family that supports each other's efforts. We have ALOT OF FUN at our rehearsals. We spend alot of time laughing and smiling, it's loose. We have women and POC in the band, can't have a hostile vibe in the room. Outside of that small caveat, it's really wide open to anyone. Even if you are a 45 year old pot bellied,bald old dude and no one is giving you a break---come on---or a kuul AF drummer girl that is not getting enough work---so long as you know your stuff, you have a place with us. This is not your typical Cedar Park coverband of Brads and Chadwicks lol Talent first when it comes to the drums. Plenty of prettyness with upfront 4 already lol This is where you chuckle 😎🤣😂
